I think it's nice that Shinichi has real friendship with the Detective Boys. He's annoyed with them before, but, honestly, he gets to have another fun childhood due to them. They also share the same interests too like solving cases and soccer.

interesting. if it had been me instead of Conan, i would have just put their backpacks on the ground and walked away carrying my own. if they bitched at me about it, "hey, i carry you guys around on every case. why should i have to carry your BAGS too?"

even as a 'child' Conan's got a higher individual case closure rate than the ENTIRE Detective Boy's Club (minus his input) added together. if you took out Conan's 'solo career' outside the DBC, his individual contribution is STILL massive compared to the groups' input. except for Haibara the other DBC members are dead weight. they're just peons for Conan to send out and do his 'leg work' for him.

also, did you folks notice? they mellowed Genta out a ton! in the first 100 episodes the dude used to be a giant BULLY in their group, except towards Ayumi. now he's just the: stupid, hungry, out of shape, overweight, comedy relief guy.

I assumed that’s the author choosing to change her personality because him being a bully felt quite unlikeable I started to see him not being a bully since episode 33 but honestly I don’t think people care for genta too much after he’s just gian from Doraemon

this was mostly mitsuhiko and the gang and just about 20% of conan when it comes to the overall effort. yet he took credit lol. he wasnt even gonna inspect the place to begin with. id let him carry my bag too, after i put stones in it.
